This story continues where Spirit Dogs: Heroes In Heaven left off, with Ivan in dog heaven, fraught with despair at being separated from his beloved Sarah — until he is put in charge of five new arrivals and discovers that he can visit Sarah whenever he chooses. Thus begins Ivan’s adventure as a leader of a group and a huge sense of self-doubt that causes him to be sent on a dangerous mission.
